long time no blog...

Damn i've been really busy and i haven't made a post for a whole week! MHS is really hard these days...
well anwyay i've decided to make a post on Koreans.(kimchi munchers :P lol) Recently on the news there was a Korean couple whose baby died. Their baby died from neglect as they were too busy playing games in the local internet cafe. The news article reports that the couple played up to 10 hours a day!!!!!!!(THAT'S WAY TOO MUCH). So their baby was left at home and starved to death. This event shows how hardcore gamers Koreans can be. Let's hope there will be more responsible parents in the future and not hardcore gamers......
Here's the link to the story:

Pokemon Red on CAS!

Hey I recently managed to get gameboy emulator working on my CAS calculator. I'm not really playing many games just pokemon red. It's a great game. Anyway I'll post how to get it going on your own CAS.
Requirements:
TI Nspire CAS Calculator
TI Link Software
ndlessv1.0 [download here]
gbc4nspire [download here]
nspire_emu_025 [download here]
GB or GBC ROMS

1. First extract all the files. Connect your CAS to the computer with the USB cable. Run the ndless .bat you find in the ndlessv1.0 file. Make sure TI Link is not running while you are doing this. This downgrades the OS and uses and exploit to run third party applications. Read the readme.txt file for more info.
2. After installing ndlessv1.0, create a gba folder. put gbc4inspire into that folder as well as the roms you want to play.
3. To start playing go to 'My Documents' on the calculator and find gbc4inspire. Do not attempt to run the ROM as this will not work. Click on gbc4inspire and it should load up with a black screen with a lost of your ROMS. Select which ROM you want to play and enjoy.
A='ESC'
B='Tab'
D-Pad='Dpad'
Start='Shift'
Clear='Select'
ENJOY!!!

Finally Japanese Imports

Finally a blog entry about imports...
  What's so good about imports you might ask? Well in Japan they make excellent cars with performance which can be tuned to your liking by the huge range of aftermarket bits and pieces. They have also had much screen fame in movies such as the fast and furious series and games such as need for speed. Japanese cars are cheap, reliable, looks great, efficient, sporty and fun. Isn't that pretty much everything you want from a car? Also Japanese people take extremely good care of their cars, so buying a second hand car from Japan would look like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Even if it is 10 years old.
RX7 FD3S's stopped production in the 1990s, so this one is around 10 years old yet it looks brand new!!!

So clean and shiny!!!
  Another good thing about imports is that everytime a Japanese car maker produces a car, the technology on it is usually way ahead of all the other car markets. So even if you get an old Japanese car, it would be like a new car in your country.
  Imports never run out as most people in Japan buy new cars every 3-4 years (thanks to government incentives) so theres always something good you can get from Japan. Unfortunately local car industries do not like this and heavily tax on imports...So make sure you got heaps of folding stuff in your wallet before you get an import..
Btw this is a hobby rc car.(Tamiya TT01). Just shows how detailed Tamiya is and also how clean the real RX7 is above ^^^^^.

Southern Cross Damage

Just a quick post.
sorry i guys i know this is still not a post about imports but i promise  you next one will be!
Rain flooding the station throught the rip in the roof.
i had to do this one today while it was still fresh. I was at southern cross station today and noticed how badly the hail had affected the station's roof. The hail pretty much ripped through the plastic lining which allows sunlight to come in but keep the rain out. All over the roof the plastic was shredded...
Rips in the plastic lining, note how you can see the blue sky..

Just decided to show my love of Linkin Park (greatest band ever) by posting my collection of their albums. XD
[ LINKIN PARK ] FOREVER!!!!

Frog in my garage

Sorry about the quality but in the red square there's supposed to be a frog.
I got back home last night and to my surprise there was a frog in the driveway!!! As soon as I opened the garage door, it jumped in and is now refusing to get out. What really baffles me is how it got to my driveway in the first place. I just noticed i haven't been posting much about imports which is what this blog is supposed to be about so i'll get cracking on that. Stay tuned!

Elfen Lied

  I just finshed watching an anime series called 'Elfen Lied'. Elfen Lied revolves around the interactions, views, emotions, and discrimination between humans and the Diclonius, a mutant species similar to humans in build but distinguishable by two horns on their head and "vectors", transparent telekinetically controlled arms that have the power to manipulate and cut objects within their reach. The series is centered on the teenage Diclonius girl "Lucy" who was rejected by humans and subsequently wreaks a murderous vengeance upon them.
  Elfen Lied involves themes of social alienation, identity, revenge, child abuse, jealousy, regret and the value of humanity. The series employs graphic violence and nudity. So it's NSFW...
  After watching it I was amazed at how the series made me stick with it till the end despite all the gore. btw its got heaps of gore!!!!! I would recommend this anime to those who want to watch something a little bit different and something a more deep.

Melbourne storm carnage.

Following yesterday's storm, my VCE Success seminar had to be cancelled due to damage. Parts of the roof had fallen in and water was coming in. It was too 'dangerous' so we were all dismissed. Oh well more time for me to do hw which i should get back to right now. I hear there will be more storms this afternoon...

Crazy storm and Tom Yum Soup

This afternoon's storm was one of Melbourne's craziest. Hail the size of golfballs =O threated to break my house's windows. Really scary stuff.
Shot of the huge hail blocks outside my room.
A bit hard to see but that white stuff near the fence is actually a  layer of the hail.

For dinner my family went down to one of Glen Waverley's restaurants. I had tom yum noodle soup and it was f***ing spicy!!!! i swear i will never eat that again. Apparently the one I ate today was supposed to be extra spicy so maybe i'll try a less spicy one another day.....

Happy Chinese New Year all. This year i went to box hill to check out the stuff happening there. It sucked.. Too many ppl handing out ads and politicians trying to get us to vote for them. The whole place was also a piracy night mare. Cheap DVDs in chinese that are so fake even my sister knows they're fake. However, I did manage to find some galgames and AV dvds through the pile of fake stuff... Anywayz in my opinion, the chinese new year festival in the city is way better.
